Floating Light Bulb

트로피이미지

Simon Morris invented a new kind of light bulb. When Morris was 16, he first dreamed of having a hover board, which can float above the ground. After 15 years of studying, he finally made a light bulb that adopts the same principles of a hover board.
Morris applied the principle of magnetic levitation and induction to create a new light bulb. Magnetic levitation means the manner by which something is suspended with only support from magnetic fields.
Induction prevents a charged object from touching a neutral one. So, people can power Morris’ light bulb without screwing it into a socket. They just put it on a wooden lampstand that contains an electromagnet. Then, the light bulb will shine and illuminate the space around it.

Morris’ success inspires many people who have their own dreams to create something new. If you have a dream, never give up and pursue your passion.
